We work to ensure the Monroe School District has equitable policy, curriculum, and culture for staff, faculty, and students.

We do this by building relationship with students, family, staff, and administrators in the MSD.  We do this by engaging the MSD School Board of Directors, the MEA, and people who have influence to effect change and address inequities.  We do this by attending school board meetings, joining committees, and participating in the system.  We do this by listening and advocating when asked for those who have been marginalized, feel powerless, or fear retaliation for speaking out.  We do this because every student and employee deserves to be seen, heard, and safe each day that they walk through the halls of our public schools.  An equitable school district means everyone is served according to their needs.
